I am a huge fan of the yellow and gray color scheme...something about the brightness of the yellow and the gloominess of the grey just flows with perfect balance for me. When I was searching the vault (referred to as the vault cause it's so packed with stuff it's hard to get in there!) for something to wear, the sweater and color-blocked heels paired next to each other jumped out at me (literally sweater fell off the shelf...oh lord) and they made for the perfect color story! And who doesn't love a little yellow to brighten up their day?! I have had both the sweater and the heels for quite sometime now and I always love bringing out old pieces from my closet, reinventing looks with them and making them feel like new (clearly I have waaaay too much time on my hands)!
