Like I've said before denim on denim is something I never envisioned myself wearing but definitely something that I've grown to love. Imagine that?!
The contrast between light and dark denim is really the way to go with this look, all the same tone and you just may end up looking like farmer John (unless of course that's the look you were headed for!). So, in the spirit of summer I threw my jeans to the side and headed straight for the short shorts! Such a perfect look to carry me from day to night...a definite keeper for the summer repertoire.

Second..loving the denim on denim here...I think because the washes are SO different it really works...for some reason this trend hasn't worked for me in the past...maybe I should retry and take a cue from you.
