 This outfit was the ultimate comfy chic ensemble for a recent outing with the hubs. The skirt is actually a maxi dress that I converted by just throwing this utility shirt (that I've had for a few years) over. My point...recycle, recycle, recycle! It's always good to do a little shopping in your own closet...sometimes I'm amazed at all of the shizz I have in there (signing up for the next season of hoarders...just jokes).

Love Love & Wedge Love

I headed into Zara and my shoe radar started to beep as soon as I saw these wedges up on the counter. In trying to be less impulsive these days I thought, I don't NEED them right now (yes it's true, I really did say that). So, I walked outta there without said wedges and I of course come home and tell the hubs all about my find (poor guy...I torture him with my stories about shoes)! Um...next day I come home from work and my beloved wedges were all warm and cozy in their navy blue bag on our bed waiting for me to stick my dogs in them. Now that's love...

So, I am donning some of my favorite things in this get up right here (who the hell do I think I am, Oprah?). First things first...I have realized that I am a total Club Monaco whore, like a good whore though (is that an oxymoron?). I find that I gravitate to a lot of their pieces because I love how classically chic and elegant they are. After reviewing the contents of my closet, my gravitation ratio seems  to be at an all time high...oy.

I'm also totes smitten with my new J.Crew necklace...I love how the brass really adds a sort of tough edge to it and the touch of sparkle is just the right amount of femininity. 

I'm in a heavy leopard phase right now and I seriously can't get enough of these wedges! Love that the print is very subtle on the heel and they are so comfy I could wear them forever (no, not to bed but the thought did cross my mind when they arrived).

Belted Lace

This dress with the lace insert is so feminine and delicate it was the perfect choice for a weekend ladies lunch (I was feeling very mature and grown up in this get up....such a rarity!). The hubs bought me these shoes when we first started dating (even then he knew I was addicted to shoes) 9 years ago and I still adore them. Do you have things in your closet that just never get old to you?

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of attending L.A. Fashion Weekend's show hosted by The Gallery LA at Sunset Gower Studios. I had an absolute blast mingling, sipping signature cocktails, and viewing collections by Dina Bar-El, Z Brand, Biatta, Nicole Lee, Nuvula and Civil Society. Only in LA do you have Ron Jeremy (I thought for a minute that I was at the wrong show...eh) sitting in front of you and The Piv (Jeremy Piven in case you were wondering who the H that was) across from you...was some good people watching indeed!
